(Prerequisite: Public Manners: Low-Level Distractions)
This class focuses on real-life situations where your dog learns great manners in your community at public parks using medium-level distractions. We also cover proper socialization and confidence building using urban agility tools.
The goal is for your dog to be calm, focused, and listen to you around passing dogs, joggers, strollers, kids, bikers, squirrels, etc. We also keep working on the Come command to solidify it in public where it counts the most, as well as role play for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Certification.
The 3 parks include Benson Park, Lake Lynn, and the Museum of Art (get ready for great self-control around playing dogs!).
